I think, write, and speak about the governance of scientific and technological innovation in society.
As a researcher and consultant, I’m particularly interested in policy-making on emerging neurotechnology and AI.
With an interdisciplinary background in the social studies of science and technology (STS), I draw on qualitative and interpretive tools to better understand
Frameworks and instruments for the ethical, responsible, and socially inclusive governance of science and technology
Policies and strategies for a greater alignment of technological development with social values and needs
Cultural, institutional and organisational differences in steering technoscientific innovation with and for society
Emerging soft and hard law for innovation in international and global governance
Possibilities for a better understanding and critique of innovation imperatives in policy and politics
